Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah today attended the 62nd Parent’s Day ceremony at Cadet College Petaro as the chief guest.
The event was also attended by various dignitaries, including MNAs, MPAs, and other notable personalities. Upon arrival, the chief minister was warmly welcomed by MNA Malik Asad Sikander, Commodore Faisal Iqbal Qazi, the Principal of Cadet College, and others.
During the ceremony, CM Shah, accompanied by the Principal, inspected the cadet parade and was introduced to the college’s teaching staff. The event also saw the participation of Hyderabad Division Commissioner Bilal Ahmed Memon, DIG Hyderabad Tariq Razaq Daharijo, Chief Minister’s PS Saleem Bajari, and Jamshoro Deputy Commissioner Ghazanfar Ali Qadri.
Addressing the audience, the CM expressed his honor in attending the 62nd Parent’s Day at Cadet College Petaro and said he was impressed by the gathering of bright cadets, parents, and esteemed guests. He advised the students to make the most of their time at Petaro by using it to develop knowledge, leadership skills, and a strong sense of responsibility.
He further emphasized that success relies on perseverance, leadership, and the ability to adapt, urging the students to stay true not only to their parents but also to their country, as they are the future of Pakistan.
The chief minister also praised the Principal and staff for their dedication to the institution. He reassured the college that the Sindh government would continue to provide support to strengthen the institution. CM Shah announced the provision of a 1.5 MW solar system for Cadet College Petaro.
