The Green Panel secured sweeping victory in Hyderabad Union of Journalists’ annual election at the Hyderabad Press Club on Monday.
According to the poll result, the entire Green Panel body was elected unopposed. Senior journalist Hamid Sheikh was elected as the new president, while young journalist Ali Hamza Zaidi was elected as the general secretary.
Faiz Khoso was selected as senior vice president, Altaf Koti as vice president, Feroz Baber as senior joint secretary, Muzafar Rind as joint secretary, and Danish Nafis as finance secretary.
Additionally, members of the Executive Committee include local newspaper editor Ikhlaq Ahmed, cameraman Abbas Ali, Aamir Zaidi, Haroon Arain, photographer Hassnain Ali Wahid, Imtiaz Arain, Irfan Bughio, Muhammad Waqas, Nasir Hassan Khan, and Tasawar Shad Rajput.
