Protesters in Sibi demand recovery of abducted boy

Members of the Sarafa Association staged a peaceful protest outside the Sibi Press Club on Monday, urging authorities to ensure the recovery of abducted boy Muhammad Musawir Kakar.

The demonstration was led by the association’s provincial general secretary, Muhammad Naeem Ramzan, and Sibi general secretary, Muhammad Ismail Qureshi. Protesters carried placards and banners with slogans calling for Kakar’s safe return.

Speakers at the protest expressed frustration over the lack of progress in the case despite the considerable time that has passed since the boy’s abduction. They called on officials to take immediate action to locate and recover Kakar.

After voicing their concerns and chanting slogans in support of their demands, the protesters dispersed peacefully.

Muhammad Musawir Kakar, a young boy was abducted some weeks ago under unclear circumstances. His disappearance has caused widespread anguish in the community, particularly among members of the Sarafa Association, a local traders’ group, who have taken up the issue to demand swift action.

The case has reportedly seen limited progress, prompting public outcry and calls for stronger efforts from law enforcement agencies.
