Dow University of Health Sciences (DUHS) has launched a new Dow Lab branch in Karachi’s Shoe Market area on Nishter Road, enhancing diagnostic service availability for nearby communities.
Dr. Ashar Afaq, DUHS Registrar, inaugurated the facility, accompanied by Saleem Chauhan, Director of Commercial and Operations, and Mr. Pir Mudassir Ali Shah, Director of Human Resources. Dr. Afaq stated that Dow Labs now operate in about 92 locations across 17 cities, encompassing Karachi, interior Sindh, and Balochistan. The labs aim to deliver premium diagnostic testing at reasonable prices.
The new center will provide consistent and dependable testing for underserved patients. Dr. Afaq praised the team”s effort in establishing the branch, emphasizing its role in broadening healthcare access.
Chauhan added that while expansion continues, enhancing service excellence remains paramount. Further initiatives are under consideration to bring improved and affordable healthcare closer to communities. Dr. Afaq officially opened the facility with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
