Residents say the pools of sewage are often hidden, increasing the risk of accidents. Several motorcycles and other vehicles have fallen into these concealed pools. The foul smell has made life unpleasant for the local population.

Recently, Tando Allahyar residents protested against the authorities for their failure to address the issue. They allege that the leakage is a result of negligence and inadequate maintenance by the water and sanitation departments. The matter has been raised with the authorities repeatedly, but no action has been taken. They added that the water and sanitation agency attempted to repair the leak, but the problem persists. They emphasized the need for a complete overhaul of the sewerage infrastructure.

They appealed to the administration to take immediate steps to rectify the situation and warned that if the matter is not resolved soon, the citizens of Tando Allahyar will take further steps, including street protests, to protect their health and well-being.
