A meeting chaired by Special Assistant to the Chief Minister Sindh, Muhammad Saleem Baloch, reviewed the performance of the Public Health Engineering and Rural Development Department, annual development projects, sustainable development goals, and water sanitation projects.
Secretary Sohail Ahmed Qureshi, Additional Secretary Muhammad Bakhsh Jarwar, Regional Directors General, Director General Rural Development, Chief Engineers and other officials were present in the meeting. Muhammad Saleem Baloch took a detailed briefing on the department’s activities.
He directed to resolve the issues of employees’ promotions within a month. He also ordered the immediate resolution of funding issues hindering the timely completion of projects. He also emphasized the urgent need to resolve land acquisition disputes affecting several projects.
Muhammad Saleem Baloch directed the Chief and Superintending Engineers to personally monitor the ongoing projects and emphasized a zero-tolerance policy against negligence.
