The Milli Yakjehti Council, an important alliance of religious and political leaders, has called for a country-wide protest at Hyder Chowk, Hyderabad on October 10, 2025, aimed at expressing solidarity with Palestinians and protesting against Israeli actions.
The meeting was held at the JUP district office under the chairmanship of Qari Ghulam Sarwar Amini, the Hyderabad District head of Jamiat Ulema-e-Pakistan. This gathering was in response to a country-wide protest call by the Milli Yakjehti Council Pakistan, aimed at mobilizing public support against Israeli atrocities.
Participants included prominent figures such as Dr. Younis Danish, the central spokesperson for the Milli Yakjehti Council and JUP, and Nazim Ali Arain, the central vice-president of JUP. Leaders from various religious groups, including Sunni Tehreek Pakistan, Jamaat Ahle Sunnat, and Jamaat-e-Islami, were also present. The consensus was that the silence of Muslim rulers on Israel’s actions in Gaza is unbearable.
Dr. Younis Danish stressed the need for the Islamic world to unite politically, economically, and diplomatically against Israel. He announced a country-wide protest movement being launched with the aim of awakening global consciousness and pressuring Muslim leaders to take decisive action.
