Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Muhammad Jawad Tariq held an open court, issuing immediate directives to resolve citizen complaints and underscoring that the redressal of public grievances is a foremost priority for the capital”s police force.
DIG office informed today that during the forum at his office, DIG Tariq highlighted that residents can also utilize the “IGP Complaint Cell 1715” to register their issues. He stated that the initiative follows explicit instructions from Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi.
The IGP has mandated that all senior police officials organize these public forums throughout the district to ensure citizen concerns are heard and promptly addressed.
In adherence to these directives, all zonal Superintendents of Police (SPs) are now conducting similar open courts in their respective jurisdictions. The DIG affirmed that the Islamabad Police are dedicated to proactively engaging with the public to solve their problems effectively.
He concluded by encouraging every citizen of Islamabad to openly share their matters at these forums, reiterating that resolving these concerns remains the utmost priority for the police department.
