Islamabad Police on High Alert as DIG Issues Stern Warning Against Lawlessness

Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Islamabad, Muhammad Jawad Tariq, today placed the city’s police force on high alert, issuing a stark warning that any attempt at lawlessness will be dealt with strictly and that no negligence in ensuring citizen security will be tolerated.

The directive came during the DIG”s inspection of various duty points across the capital, a visit intended to review the overall security situation. Accompanied by other senior police officials, he met with officers and personnel deployed in the field to assess their preparedness.

During his visit, Tariq instructed all law enforcement personnel to remain exceptionally vigilant. “Every officer must stay alert, there will be no compromise on the safety of the people,” he emphasized, adding that the continuity of peace and order in the city must be maintained at all costs.

The DIG made it clear that authorities would take firm action against any disruptive elements. “Any attempt at mischief or lawlessness will be dealt with strictly, and no one will be allowed to take the law into their own hands,’ he stated, signaling a robust stance against potential troublemakers.

In a message to the public, the police official appealed for cooperation in maintaining tranquility and urged citizens to refrain from engaging in any unlawful activities.

Tariq concluded by reinforcing the department”s core objectives. He reiterated, ‘The protection of citizens’ lives and property is our mission, while public trust is our most valuable asset.’
