The Punjab Bar Council has appealed to the Chief Justice of the Lahore High Court to take notice of the inappropriate behavior of the Civil Judge Pirmahal. An emergency meeting with all members of the Faisalabad Division was held on Wednesday, presided over by Vice Chairman Chaudhry Muhammad Ashfaq Kahut, Advocate High Court.
The meeting was attended by Zubair Ullah Nigran Advocate High Court, Chairman Executive Council, and other prominent figures, resulting in a decisive action: a strike notice was issued to every bar association in the Faisalabad Division. The members unanimously announced a complete boycott of court appearances as a protest.
The Bar Council has demanded that the Chief Justice take immediate action and initiate a formal inquiry.
