A resident was killed and two others were seriously injured in a rocket launcher attack by a gang of dacoits on a village near Khairpur, spreading fear and panic in the area.
The incident occurred on Thursday when an armed group targeted Jamu Phulpoto village. The attackers used heavy weapons, including rocket launchers, to attack the local residents.
As a result of this brutal attack, Shah Mir alias Mircho Phulpoto, son of Inayat Ali Phulpoto, was killed on the spot. During the attack, two other villagers, identified as Imran Ali Phulpoto and Hajan Ali Phulpoto, were seriously injured.
Upon receiving information, law enforcement agencies reached the scene. Police officials immediately shifted the body of the deceased and the injured to the Civil Hospital for medico-legal proceedings and treatment.
According to a police spokesperson, a formal investigation into this violent incident has been initiated.
