Pakistan and Turkiye Forge Deeper Educational Alliance Focusing on Digital and Vocational Training

Pakistan and Turkiye have committed to significantly enhancing their partnership in the education sector, with a strategic focus on modernizing teacher training, expanding vocational and technical education, and advancing digital learning platforms.

According to a report by MOIB today, The renewed pledge was made during a high-level meeting between Pakistan”s Minister of State for Federal Education, Wajiha Qamar, and Turkiye”s Minister of National Education, Prof. Dr. Yusuf Tekin. The discussion took place on the periphery of a UNESCO conference being held in the city.

Officials confirmed that this strengthened collaboration will operate under the UNESCO framework, aiming to formalize and guide the joint initiatives between the two nations.

During the engagement, Minister Qamar expressed appreciation for Turkiye”s existing strong partnership with Pakistan. She acknowledged the significant support already extended through various educational programs, student scholarships, and established institutional collaborations.
