UAE President Receives New Pakistani Envoy’s Credentials, Pledging Enhanced Cooperation

In a significant diplomatic ceremony at Qasr Al Watan, UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan today formally received the credentials of Pakistan’s new ambassador, Shafqat Ali Khan, reaffirming the Emirates’ enduring commitment to strengthening international cooperation and fostering global peace.

The formal event, marking the official commencement of the ambassador”s duties, was attended by a host of senior officials, including His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court.

Welcoming the new diplomats, the UAE President articulated his nation”s dedication to building bridges that support growth, prosperity, and stability worldwide. He underscored the importance of promoting dialogue and understanding among diverse peoples and cultures.

His Highness wished the envoys success in their new missions, assuring them they would receive full support in carrying out their responsibilities to reinforce ties between their respective countries and the UAE.

On his part, Ambassador Khan conveyed a message of brotherhood, respect, and goodwill from the Pakistani leadership, along with their best wishes for the continued progress of the Emirates. His Highness warmly reciprocated these sentiments and wished the ambassador success in bolstering the relationship between the two nations.

The high-profile ceremony was also attended by key members of the UAE leadership, including Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs; Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Development and Fallen Heroes” Affairs; Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs; and Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Adviser to the UAE President, along with numerous other sheikhs, ministers, and senior officials.
