Turkey has announced plans to establish a state-of-the-art combat drone assembly factory in Pakistan, according to official information today, which will further deepen strategic military ties between the two countries.
The new facility will provide Pakistan with modern unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) technology, which includes the capability to assemble long-range drones and platforms incorporating stealth combat features.
According to a report by the global magazine Bloomberg, the move is considered an international acknowledgment of the professional capabilities of the Pakistan Army.
This initiative in aerial technology expands upon an existing defense partnership, which already includes a joint production agreement for Turkiye to manufacture modern naval warships for the Pakistan Navy.
