Thatta’s Senior School Teacher Muhammad Amin Jakhro Retires, Tributes Paid at Farewell

Senior School Teacher Muhammad Amin Jakhro’s farewell ceremony, marking his 35 years of service in the education department, was held on Thursday at Primary School Shah Muhammad Magsi, where colleagues and community leaders paid tribute to his distinguished career.

Held at Primary School Shah Muhammad Magsi in Makli, the event featured numerous tributes from officials who described Jakhro’s departure as a void. Speakers, including Assistant Education Officer Thatta Mumtaz Bajoro and PTA District Thatta President Sharif Taniyo, praised the educator’s commendable services, calling him an exemplary and role model professional throughout his long tenure.

Khair Muhammad Brohi and Mustafa Mengal Brohi were among those who stated that with Jakhro’s departure, the education department, particularly Taluka Thatta, has lost a uniquely capable teacher. Senior teachers Muhammad Hanif, Talat Hussain Unar, Shahnawaz Jokhiyo, Hafiz Sharifani, and Meena Akram Khaskheli also paid tribute, applauding his impactful career.

The ceremony also included cultural programs, where students recited poetry by Dua Amin Jakhro and Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai, earning enthusiastic applause from the audience. As a mark of respect, guests presented the retiring teacher with traditional Lungi and Ajraks.
