Sindh’s Minister for Local Government, Nasir Hussain Shah, has described the Pakistan Peoples Party’s (PPP) victory in the PS-9 Shikarpur by-election as a direct endorsement of Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s public vision.
In an official statement on Monday, the minister congratulated Agha Shahbaz Durrani on securing the victory and expressed gratitude for the favorable electoral outcome in the Shikarpur constituency.
Shah stressed that the successful outcome is a clear testament to the popularity and widespread acceptance of the PPP Chairman’s policies and public outreach.
The minister also praised the enduring political legacy of the victor’s late father, Agha Siraj Durrani. He said that the extensive public services rendered by the senior Durrani were a significant contributing factor in his son’s victory.
Concluding his remarks, Shah expressed confidence that Agha Shahbaz Durrani will follow in his father’s footsteps, and will make serving the people of his constituency and strengthening the party’s position his primary mission.
