Dense fog in the city and surrounding areas has severely affected the traffic system, causing vehicles on the Karachi and Larkana highways to be stranded on Wednesday, and passengers faced severe difficulties.
The ongoing severe cold and increasing chill have confined both urban and rural populations to their homes, leaving the city’s main commercial markets deserted. Traders have complained of financial losses as a result of the decline in business activities.
In a related development, student attendance in educational institutions was also lower than usual due to the severity of the cold.
