Pakistani and Saudi Governors Convene to Bolster Bilateral Ties and Regional Stability

The governors of Pakistan’s Sindh province and Saudi Arabia’s Tabuk region held a high-level meeting at Karachi Airport on Friday, focusing on enhancing mutual cooperation and discussing matters pertinent to regional peace and stability.

According to an official statement, Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tessori received the Governor of Tabuk Province, Prince Fahd bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, upon his arrival. The meeting was also attended by a high-profile Saudi delegation, including Ambassador Nawaf bin Saeed Ahmed Al-Malki, the Consul General, and the Military Attaché.

During the talks, both parties acknowledged the deep-rooted historical, religious, and fraternal bonds linking the two countries. It was noted that these ties have continually strengthened, with a shared desire to expand collaboration across various sectors.

Governor Tessori described the visit as a significant step towards reinforcing bilateral relations. He stated that Pakistan places immense value on its association with Saudi Arabia, highlighting its importance for fostering regional peace, stability, and development.

Following the discussions, Governor Tessori formally saw off Prince Fahd bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud at the airport. The meeting concluded with a renewed commitment from both sides to continue fortifying the enduring partnership between the two nations.
