Pakistan Cautions Nationals Against Iran Travel Citing Safety Concerns

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued a significant travel advisory, urging Pakistani nationals to avoid all unnecessary journeys to the Islamic Republic of Iran until the situation in the country stabilises.

The directive, released on Saturday for the safety and security of its citizens, extends specific guidance to Pakistani nationals currently present within Iran.

These individuals are strongly counselled to exercise extreme caution, remain vigilant, and curtail any non-essential movement.

Furthermore, the advisory stresses the importance of maintaining regular contact with Pakistani diplomatic missions in the country. To facilitate this, the Ministry has publicised dedicated contact numbers for the Embassy of Pakistan in Tehran and its posts in Zahidan and Mashhad.
