The Meteorological Department on Monday forecast that a wave of moderate to dense fog is likely to blanket the plain areas of Punjab, upper Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, while cold and dry weather will remain in most parts of the country.
According to the National Meteorological Department, the weather will remain cold and dry in most parts of the country, while severe cold is expected in the mountainous areas.
In contrast, partly cloudy weather is likely in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit-Baltistan with the possibility of light rain and snowfall at some places.
