Former international cyclist Nazakat Ali, who raised Pakistan’s flag and name in India, has passed away after enduring severe financial hardships for a long time.
The renowned athlete, who had previously raised Pakistan’s flag during competitions in India, was reportedly living in poverty before his demise.
During his professional career, Ali was a cyclist for Pakistan Railways.
The final years of his life were marred by severe personal hardships, including the loss of one of his legs two years ago, which further compounded his difficulties.
