NUST, Coventry University Deepen Research Partnership with Professorial Visit

The National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) hosted a senior academic from a leading UK university for a series of strategic meetings focused on enhancing an established international research alliance.

According to the university information today, Professor James Peter Brusey, a Professor of Computer Science and Co-Director at the Centre for Computational Science and Mathematical Modelling at Coventry University, attended the engagements organised by NUST’s School of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering (SMME) in partnership with NIO.

The long-standing cooperation between the two institutions has previously resulted in several joint initiatives, including the establishment of shared laboratories and mobility programmes for both faculty and students.

Further outcomes of the academic alliance include exchange professorships, funded PhD studentships, and multiple British Council-supported research ventures.

This latest visit is positioned as a development in the university’s stated commitment to fostering globally connected and innovation-driven research and education.
