South Korean Dignitaries Briefed on Long-Standing Kashmir Dispute at UN

A visiting high-level parliamentary delegation from South Korea has been apprised of the long-standing nature of the Kashmir conflict, which was described as an internationally recognised dispute pending on the United Nations” agenda for several decades.

According to a report by MOIB on Friday, the South Korean representatives received the detailed briefing during a meeting in Islamabad with Rana Muhammad Qasim Noon, the Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Kashmir.

During the session, the committee chairman updated the visiting dignitaries on what he termed the latest situation in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, underscoring the protracted status of the matter before the international community.
