More than 200 companies from various sectors gathered at the main campus of the Institute of Business Administration (IBA) on Saturday for the annual career fair, providing a significant networking opportunity for students and industry leaders.
The event, held under the theme “Energize Your Future,” aimed to empower students to explore various professional paths and connect with organizations aligned with their career ambitions. This theme encouraged participants to take control of their professional development.
Representatives from numerous industries, including banking, financial services, energy, information technology, pharmaceuticals, and manufacturing, were present. The fair fostered extensive connections between these industry representatives and the institution’s students.
In a pre-recorded message, IBA’s Executive Director Dr. Akbar Zaidi thanked the participating organizations for their continued confidence in the institution. He emphasized the professional skills and potential of the students, stating that employers would be encouraged by interacting with the talent present at the fair.
The program also included discussions by several industrial and academic figures. Panelists included Syed Atif Murtaza Qaiser from the IBA School of Business Studies, as well as senior human resources professionals such as Faiza Faisal of National Bank of Pakistan, Syed Danish Ali of Meezan Bank, and Muhammad Noman Ayub of Pak Suzuki Motors.
A key feature of the 2026 Career Fair was its interactive components, such as mentorship lounges, which provided students with the opportunity to receive direct guidance from experienced professionals. These sessions allowed participants to gain deeper insights into their personal skills and potential career paths.
