5 scholars from various departments of Punjab University awarded PhD degrees

The University of Punjab has announced the awarding of doctorate degrees to five scholars, a significant advancement in higher research across a broad spectrum of academic fields including social sciences, natural sciences, and humanities.

The University of Punjab on Monday formally issued the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) credentials following the successful completion of extensive research by the candidates.

Among the degree recipients, Fauzia Hayat d/o Umar Hayat Khokhar earned her doctorate in the field of Applied Psychology.

In the natural sciences, Shahida Hussain d/o Ghulam Hussain was awarded a PhD for her work in Microbiology and Molecular Genetics.

Mudassira Mahmood d/o Mahmood Ahmed was also among those who received the prestigious degree, completing her doctoral studies in the field of Pakistan Studies.

The university further conferred a doctorate in Communication Studies upon Abdul Hameed Mpovu s/o Abdul Noor Kende.

Completing the list of new doctorate holders, Muhammad Naeem s/o Muhammad Bashir Ahmed was awarded a PhD for his scholarly achievements in Chemistry.
