Federal Minister for IT and Telecom, Shaza Fatima Khawaja, has arrived in Kuwait on Wednesday for high-level engagements,
During the one-day visit, the Federal Minister will attend the 5th DCO General Assembly, where she will address the opening ceremony and hold meetings with leaders of member countries.
A central topic of discussion will be the emerging field of artificial intelligence and its associated risks, which she will discuss with international policymakers during a thematic ministerial roundtable conference.
On the occasion of the transfer of DCO’s presidency to Pakistan, Ms. Khawaja will have meetings with the organization’s senior leadership.
Her extensive schedule also includes several bilateral meetings to promote digital cooperation.
Scheduled consultations include discussions with DCO’s Secretary-General Deemah AlYahya, as well as ministerial counterparts from Saudi Arabia, Kenya, Rwanda, and Kuwait. A meeting is also scheduled with the Deputy Minister for Digital Development and Transport of Azerbaijan.
The minister will also attend an official luncheon hosted by the Kuwaiti government and a ministerial session, which will provide further opportunities for interaction with global delegates.
