Pakistan, Syria to Boost Cooperation for Enhanced Pilgrim Facilitation

Pakistan and Syria have formally agreed to strengthen their collaborative efforts aimed at significantly improving provisions for religious pilgrims travelling between the two nations.

According to an official report today, the decision emerged from a high-level meeting in Islamabad between Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and a Syrian delegation, which was headed by the custodian of the revered shrine of Hazrat Bibi Zainab (RA).

Discussions during the engagement were centred on various matters concerning the facilitation of individuals undertaking religious journeys.

Speaking at the conclusion of the talks, the Interior Minister highlighted that greater convenience and ease for pilgrims could be secured through joint arrangements and more coordinated bilateral efforts.
