Senior Police Official Addresses Land Encroachment Complaints in Public Forum

Residents voiced grievances concerning land encroachments and other civic matters during an open court session held by the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) for Operations, Qazi Ali Raza, at his office.

According to a police report today, the initiative was conducted under an open-door policy following special directives from the Inspector General of Police, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, to ensure the swift redressal of public problems.

The SSP for Operations listened to the concerns presented by the public and subsequently instructed the relevant officers to initiate legal proceedings on the submitted applications. He mandated that these actions be completed within a specified timeframe, with a report on the outcomes to be submitted thereafter.

During the session, SSP Qazi Ali Raza reiterated the police department”s commitment to a zero-tolerance policy towards violence against women and children. He stated that delivering maximum relief to the public remains a principal objective, affirming that the supremacy of the law would be upheld.

He further emphasised that all citizens possess equal rights and assured that every application would be assessed on merit. The protection of life, property, and the dignity of the populace is of the highest importance, he added.
