Two people were killed on the spot while two others were seriously injured in a severe collision between a bus and a loader rickshaw on Nagra Bridge Rajana Road on Wednesday.
The fatal accident occurred when a Manthar bus coming from the opposite direction collided with a loader rickshaw which was carrying a bull.
Authorities have identified the deceased as Sheroz Akbar and Muhammad Shabbir, who died at the scene.
The rescue team transferred the two seriously injured individuals to DHQ Hospital for immediate treatment after providing CPR and first aid.
The police have registered a case and initiated an investigation into the circumstances of the accident. Following this tragedy, local citizens have demanded that higher authorities implement concrete safety measures to prevent such incidents in the future.
