Karachi Oil tanker overturns in Clifton, disrupting traffic; Fire Brigade and City Wardens bring situation under control

Emergency services were dispatched following the overturning of an oil tanker in Clifton on Wednesday morning, prompting swift action to secure the area and manage the incident.

Fire Brigade personnel, along with City Wardens, arrived at the scene promptly. Their first priority was to establish a cordon around the overturned vehicle and isolate the site to begin relief operations while ensuring public safety.

These containment efforts were carried out under the direct instructions of Karachi Mayor Barrister Murtaza Wahab.

A spokesperson for the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation has confirmed that the responding units have now stabilized and brought the situation under control.
