Top federal and provincial authorities have pledged to enhance coordinated efforts to address Balochistan’s economic and political challenges, focusing on a joint strategy to ensure stability and foster development across the region.
The commitment was made during a high-level meeting between Federal Minister for Commerce Jam Kamal Khan and the Governor of Balochistan, Jaffar Khan Mandokhel, held at the Governor House Balochistan, said an official statement issued today.
During their discussion, the two dignitaries exchanged views on a wide array of subjects of mutual interest, including the general state of the province, various development initiatives, and crucial governance matters, alongside regional and national issues.
Minister Khan underscored the central government’s steadfast commitment to supporting the province”s advancement, specifically through the promotion of trade and the facilitation of investment into the region.
In turn, Governor Mandokhel highlighted the necessity for collaborative measures, emphasising that joint action is crucial to fortify the province”s economic and political framework for sustainable growth.
Concluding the dialogue, both officials expressed a shared resolve to continue their partnership, aiming to secure lasting prosperity and progress for the people of Balochistan.
