Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi met with Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif today. The Interior Minister briefed the Prime Minister about his participation in the four-nation Interior Ministers’ meeting held in Rome and Italy. Pakistan has signed a significant agreement with several European countries to expedite the issuance of legal work permits for its citizens.
During the meeting with Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, Naqvi informed the Prime Minister that a comprehensive plan is being prepared to be presented to the European Union.
The proposal aims to enhance Pakistan’s capabilities and capacity in terms of immigration management and border security.
In the discussion between the Prime Minister and the Interior Minister, the country’s internal security and the overall national situation were also reviewed.
