Calling the alleged assassination of Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei “the biggest crime of this century,” the Shia Rabta Council warned at a condolence gathering on Wednesday that America and Israel will have to answer.
This was stated by Shia Rabta Council Khairpur District’s General Secretary Chaudhry Muhammad Mutahir Zaidi and Allama Ansar Saqlain Jafri Al-Mashhadi during a memorial program organized by the council at Ganj-e-Shaheedan Luqman.
The leaders said that the “martyrdom” of the Iranian Supreme Leader has changed the world and it will serve to unite Muslims against their enemies. They argued that international institutions like the United Nations have become paralyzed and figures like Trump disregard international laws.
An appeal was made to the heads of Muslim countries to not see this situation as a conflict between Iran and the America-Israel alliance, but to see it as a universal struggle between the oppressor and the oppressed and provide their full support to Iran.
Other prominent figures at the event, including Allama Syed Mustajab Haider Abidi and Saeed Ahmed Balidi, also spoke and paid great tribute to the Supreme Leader. The Shia Rabta Council also organized a candle-lighting ceremony in memory of “Martyr Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei”.
Special prayers were offered for the Iranian martyrs and the martyred soldiers of the Pakistan Armed Forces’ “Operation Ghazab-ul-Haq”. People from different schools of thought attended the gathering, and at the end of the program, many participants broke their fast together.
