Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar has called for immediate de-escalation and a return to diplomacy, expressing solidarity with Oman following recent attacks on the country amidst a seriously deteriorating situation in the Middle East.
The appeal for restraint was made during a telephonic conversation with Oman’s Foreign Minister, Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, where the two dignitaries exchanged views on the evolving regional landscape, according to official information today
During the discussion, the Deputy Prime Minister commended Oman for its constructive and principled role in championing dialogue and attempting to reduce hostilities.
Mr Dar reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering support for all initiatives aimed at mitigating tensions and fostering peace and stability throughout the region and beyond.
