Dry weather, partly cloudy skies across the country, rain with strong winds and thunderstorms forecast in Kashmir

Several areas across the country are bracing for adverse weather, as the meteorological department today forecast rain with strong winds and thunderstorms in parts of Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, southeastern Punjab, Kashmir, and upper Sindh.

This forecast contrasts with the expected conditions in most parts of the country, where the day is expected to remain largely dry and partly cloudy.

Meanwhile, temperatures recorded early in the morning by the meteorological department indicated varied conditions across major urban centers.

The capital, Islamabad, and Quetta recorded a temperature of fourteen degrees Celsius. Karachi was the warmest among the listed cities with a temperature of twenty-four degrees, while Lahore and Peshawar recorded eighteen and seventeen degrees Celsius, respectively.

Temperatures remained lower in the northern and upper regions, with Muzaffarabad recording thirteen degrees, Gilgit nine, and Murree the lowest at seven degrees Celsius.
