Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has commenced a visit to Turkiye, where he is set to participate in the 5th Antalya Diplomacy Forum, engaging in the Leaders’ Panel and anticipating crucial bilateral discussions with President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and other significant global figures.
Upon his arrival at Antalya airport, Prime Minister Sharif received a cordial reception from Governor Hulusi Sahin. Pakistan’s Ambassador to Turkiye, Yousuf Junaid, along with other senior diplomatic personnel, also greeted the delegation.
The Pakistani delegation accompanying the premier comprised Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar, Special Assistant Tariq Fatemi, and Prime Minister’s Spokesperson for International Media Musharraf Zaidi, according to an official report today.
During the forum, scheduled for Friday, the Prime Minister is designated to join the Leaders” Panel. Here, he will articulate Pakistan”s stance and policy perspectives on global affairs.
In a parallel development, Trkiye”s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hakan Fidan, recently held discussions with Prime Minister Sharif in Antalya. Minister Fidan extended a warm welcome to the Pakistani head of government and conveyed appreciation for his participation in the imminent diplomatic summit.
