Three MPhil researchers from the Department of Chemistry at the University of Turbat (UoT) successfully defended their theses during viva voce examinations.
According to a statement released by the university’s spokesperson on Wednesday, the Directorate of Graduate Studies at UoT conducted the evaluation sessions for Ms Yasmeen Saeed, Ms Iqra Karim, and Zakir Ali. Their comprehensive research projects were presented before a dedicated Viva Voce Committee.
The proceedings were chaired by Dr. Haneef-ur-Rehman, Dean of the Faculty of Science, Engineering and IT at the university. External examiners for the scholarly assessments included Dr. Akhtar Muhammad, Assistant Professor from the Department of Chemistry, Islamia University Peshawar (KP), and Dr. Haji Muhammad, Assistant Professor from the Department of Chemistry, Federal Urdu University, Karachi.
The scholars completed their advanced studies under the supervision of Dr. Rooh Ullah and Dr. Naeemullah, both Associate Professors within the Department of Chemistry. Dr. Waseem Barkat, Director Graduate Studies; Dr. Zafar Ali, Head of the Department of Chemistry; and Mr. Nadeem Jan, Assistant Controller of Examinations, were also present for the event.
