Mari Energies Ltd Reports Surge in Quarterly Profitability Amid Record Production and Lower Taxation

Karachi: Mari Energies Ltd has announced a substantial increase in its third quarter financial results for the fiscal year 2026, with net profit after tax (NPAT) reaching PkR21.2 billion, representing a year-on-year growth of 33% and a quarter-on-quarter rise of 65%. This notable performance was largely attributed to reduced effective tax charges and increased operating expenses, surpassing market expectations.

According to AKD Securities Limited, the company achieved net sales of PkR48.2 billion during the quarter, marking an increase of 6% year-on-year and 8% quarter-on-quarter. This growth was primarily driven by heightened gas production levels. Oil and gas production for the quarter were estimated at 1.4 thousand barrels per day and 945 million cubic feet per day, registering yearly increases of 15% and 4%, respectively.

For the cumulative nine-month period of fiscal year 2026, Mari Energies Ltd reported a NPAT of PkR49.6 billion, reflecting a 7% year-on-year rise from PkR46.3 billion recorded in the same period last year. The earnings per share for the nine months stood at PkR41.3, up from PkR38.6 in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year. The company's financial performance underscores its robust operational capabilities and strategic financial management.
