Eight Islamic countries, including Pakistan, have collectively condemned the persistent violations of historic Islamic and Christian holy sites by Israeli occupation authorities, specifically highlighting the controversial raising of the Israeli flag within the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque and Al-Haram Al-Sharif, alongside continuous incursions by Israeli settlers and extremist ministers.
According to an official report today, the Foreign Ministers of these nations stressed that these provocative actions represent an unacceptable provocation to Muslims worldwide and constitute a flagrant breach of international and international humanitarian law.
In a joint statement, Foreign Ministers from Pakistan, Egypt, Trkiye, Indonesia, Jordan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates vocalised their strong disapproval of these recurrent transgressions by Israeli authorities.
They underscored that such provocative actions at Al-Aqsa Mosque and Al-Haram Al-Sharif directly contravene established international legal frameworks and humanitarian principles. The statement further characterised these events as an egregious affront to the sensibilities of Muslims across the globe.
Additionally, the ministers denounced the escalating settler violence against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank. They pointed to recent assaults on Palestinian schools and children, urging for those responsible for these incidents to be held to account.
