Governor Sindh Syed Muhammad Nihal Hashmi highlighted the vital role of doctors and engineers as valuable resources of any nation. Speaking at an event organized by the Medical and Engineering Graduates Welfare Association of Sindh today, Governor Hashmi emphasized the importance of guiding the younger generation with the skills and wisdom of experienced professionals to ensure the effective contribution of future doctors and engineers to the country’s development.
Governor Hashmi praised the global achievements of Pakistani doctors and engineers, noting their critical role in strengthening Pakistan’s international reputation. He stressed the need for guidance from astute teachers to prepare the youth for future challenges.
Highlighting the essential nature of the medical and engineering fields, Governor Hashmi said these sectors are the foundation of social development, survival, and prosperity. He appreciated the selfless efforts of doctors in building a healthy society and the significant role of engineers in infrastructure and innovation.
Applauding the unity of Sindh’s graduates on a welfare platform, he particularly recognized the Association’s dedication to public service in remote areas. The Governor assured continued government support for such welfare and educational projects and heartily congratulated the awardees.
The event concluded with speeches by Dr. Shafqat Abbasi and Engineer Momin, during which lifetime achievement awards were distributed to eminent professionals, including Engineer Professor Dr. Faizullah Abbasi, Engineer Professor Dr. Muhammad Tufail, Dr. Captain (R) Rahim Bakhsh Bhatti, and others.
