Governor Sindh Syed Muhammad Nehal Hashmi, while addressing a press conference at the Governor House today, announced the launch of a free Artificial Intelligence (AI) Summer Camp for students during the summer vacations, aimed at equipping the youth with modern technological skills.
Minister of State and Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Fahad Haroon, Daniyal Nagori, and other notable personalities were also present on the occasion.
Mr Hashmi stated that, through the summer camp, students would be provided free training in Artificial Intelligence (AI) to help them acquire skills aligned with future needs. He further said that any child who can use a mobile phone can also easily learn AI.
Hashmi emphasized that introducing children to modern technology and artificial intelligence from an early age is a critical need of today’s world. He added that developed nations invest in the education, research, and skill development of their younger generations from an early stage, which is why they lead global progress.
He further stated that nations that are advancing today are those that connect their children with technology and innovation from an early age. He stressed that the objective is not only to make youth job seekers but also opportunity creators.
The Governor further stated that students should be introduced to AI and modern skills right from school level. He said that AI education would open new doors to higher education, employment, innovation, and economic empowerment for the youth.
He reaffirmed that the Governor House would continue practical initiatives to connect young people with future technologies and prepare them for modern challenges.
