Due to the deteriorating weather conditions, various accidents occurred throughout the city, with significant incidents on Sargodha Road, Gojra Road, and Faisalabad Road. These included bricks falling from roofs, the collapse of solar panel structures, and signboards falling, along with walls succumbing to the intensity of the storm.
Rescue teams promptly arrived at the scene, providing medical assistance to one affected individual on the spot, while four others were transferred to local hospitals for more comprehensive care. In a related incident, four additional individuals were injured due to a roof collapse in Shah Juna, and rescue personnel are dispatched to provide assistance.
In light of these incidents, Rescue 1122 has issued an advisory for the public to exercise caution during adverse weather. Avoiding unstable structures and objects on rooftops can reduce the risk of injury.
