In Karachi today, two tragic traffic accidents resulted in the loss of two lives, including a young girl, while another person was injured.
The first accident occurred near Shah Faisal Colony Gate Bridge, where 50-year-old Shakeel, son of Rasool Bakhsh, succumbed to his injuries. He was transferred to Jinnah Hospital via Edhi Ambulance. The accident has been registered at Airport Police Station.
In a separate accident on Super Highway Gadap City Main Road, 8-year-old girl Ayesha, daughter of Nadeem, lost her life. She was also taken to a local hospital by Edhi Ambulance. Ayesha’s mother, Nazia, aged 28, was injured in the same accident. This case falls under the jurisdiction of Gadap City Police Station.
These incidents highlight the urgent need for better road safety measures to prevent further tragedies in the city.
