Significant decrease in crime compared to last year in District Toba Tek Singh

The Crime Control Department (CCD) in its annual report released today has reported a significant decrease in the crime rate compared to the previous year, indicating an improvement in public safety and order.

Specifically, there has been a decrease of 15 cases in robbery incidents, while theft cases have seen a reduction of 370 incidents. There is also a significant decrease in motorcycle snatching incidents, with 130 fewer cases reported.

Notably, the district has achieved complete control over car snatching, and there has been a significant reduction of 516 incidents in motorcycle theft cases. Cases of theft and snatching of other vehicles have also decreased.

A complete decline has been observed in incidents of murder and murder during robbery, reflecting an improved security environment. Furthermore, there has been a decrease of two incidents in rape cases, and there is a notable reduction in crimes such as harassment of women.
