With the aim of involving youth in sports, the first Sindh Summer Sports Gala Tennis Coaching Camp in Karachi will start on Tuesday. According to a statement issued today, this event is organized by New Era Creation in collaboration with Karachi Tennis Association (District Malir), and it is set to commence on June 30 at the Falcon Sports Complex in New Malir.
This coaching camp, sponsored by C-Zone, Pakistan’s leading seafood retail chain, aims to involve youth in healthy social activities. The camp will feature esteemed Pakistani tennis legend Aqeel Khan, who will impart his skills to intermediate to advanced level players. He will be assisted by renowned national coach from Peshawar, Mehmood Khan, who is currently visiting Karachi.
Syed Yousuf, who holds the position of Vice President at Karachi Tennis Association (District Malir) and is known for his services in promoting tennis, will oversee the camp. While players from District Malir and Falcon Society have already been invited, organizers have opened spots for 10 more participants from surrounding areas on a first-come, first-served basis.
The camp will be divided into two categories-advanced and intermediate-to cater to different skill levels. Notably, organizers have waived any registration or coaching fees, making it an accessible opportunity for emerging players. Interested players are encouraged to send their names via WhatsApp to the provided contact numbers to Muhammad Khalid Rehmani, Event Director, by June 29, 2026.
