Shahdadkot Police today successfully arrested two individuals on charges of drug dealing and recovered 500 grams of gutka from their possession.
During routine patrol, law enforcement officers identified and detained Imdad Brohi and Waqar Jamali, both of whom are now facing charges under the Narcotics Act.
Police claim that this arrest is part of ongoing efforts against illegal drug trade in the area. A formal case has been registered against both, and a comprehensive investigation is underway to learn more about their operations.
Gutka, a type of chewable tobacco, is banned in several areas due to its health risks and addictive properties, making its trade a significant issue for law enforcement agencies.
Authorities hope that this arrest will provide further insight into the local drug network, potentially aiding in curbing the spread of such substances within the community.
