A dramatic encounter occurred today in Gulshan-e-Iqbal Block 7 when a confrontation between law enforcement officers and suspected robbers turned into an exchange of gunfire.
As a result of the clash, two injured suspects were arrested. These individuals were identified as Zain Ali son of Akram and Nabeel son of Shafiq, who were taken into custody after the incident. Authorities seized a pistol, ammunition, and a motorcycle from the scene, reinforcing the charges they may face. The investigation is ongoing.
On the same day, in another incident, 45-year-old Makhdoom Tahir Abbas was injured as a result of firing near Chase Up Mall in Clifton. This incident occurred due to a personal dispute. Makhdoom, who is the son of Makhdoom Jabal Shah, was immediately transferred to a medical facility for treatment.
