The Pakistan Test cricket team has arrived in the West Indies to play a two-Test series

Pakistan’s national cricket team arrived in Trinidad today, marking the start of a significant cricket tour in the West Indies. The squad’s journey, which began at Islamabad International Airport, reached their Caribbean destination after stops in Doha and London.

The team will participate in a four-day warm-up match from 18 to 21 July. This preparation match is crucial as it aims to acclimatize the players to local conditions before they engage in two significant Test matches under the ICC World Test Championship framework.

The upcoming Test matches are scheduled from 25 July to 10 August, to be held at the renowned cricket venues of Brian Lara Cricket Academy, Tarouba, and Queen’s Park Oval, Port of Spain.

After this West Indies series, the Pakistani team will embark on another challenging tour to participate in a three-Test series against England, starting on 19 August. This series of matches is an important part of Pakistan’s international cricket calendar, highlighting their commitment to maintaining globally competitive momentum.
