In Malir, near Baun Shah Road Mausoleum, an exchange of fire took place between law enforcement agencies and robbers, resulting in a police officer getting injured.
Today, a clash occurred between police personnel and criminals near the mausoleum, resulting in 42-year-old police constable Sajid getting injured by a bullet.
The police successfully arrested the injured suspect, Sameer. However, his accomplice managed to evade arrest and escaped from the scene.
Authorities recovered a pistol, several rounds of ammunition, and a mobile phone from the suspect. Both the injured officer and the suspect have been transferred to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The investigation of this incident, which occurred within the limits of Malir City Police Station, is ongoing.
