A police encounter occurred near the new vegetable market on Super Highway in Karachi today. As a result of the incident, two suspects were arrested, who were injured in the exchange of fire.
The arrested individuals have been identified as Imam Bakhsh son of Khair Muhammad and Tauseef son of Muhammad Yousuf. Despite the successful arrest, one suspect managed to evade capture. Authorities recovered a pistol, several rounds of ammunition, and a motorcycle from the scene.
In a separate incident in Hijrat Colony, a 17-year-old girl, Iqra daughter of Yaseen, was injured by a stray bullet on Street No. 35. The young girl was immediately taken to the hospital, where she is receiving medical treatment.
Civil Line Police Station is actively investigating this case to determine the source of the stray firing and to prevent further such incidents.
